                                                 The Room

I looked around, the walls, they were moving.  I stood still, watching the walls shift slowly.  The walls changed shape.  Then they stopped.  The room was much smaller now.  I saw Cassie on the floor and I went to her.  As I turned around it changed shape!” screamed Cassie.  “I know, I know,” I replied.  I pulled Cassie up and hugged her. “I do not want to go through it again!” wailed Cassie.  “We do not have a choice,” I said.  As those words were spoken, the door opened and in stepped a woman.  “Time for your new life,” said the woman.

                                     The Camping Trip

I took a seat by the orange fire. I noticed the logs collapsed on each other.  I felt warm inside.  I was super excited to be here because this was our annual camping trip with my family.  The lake was wide and perfect for swimming in.  It was a peaceful location.  There was almost no one here, except for this other family with a little boy.  He was maybe five and he carried around a little stuffed crocodile.  I stood up and walked to our cabin.  Within our cabin was a kitchen and a bedroom.  I sat down inside and listened to the fire all night.
